2024 West Mayfield Paving Project

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Borough of West Mayfield, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids at the Office of the Borough Secretary, 3700 W. 9th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, 15010 until 4:00 P.M., on July 11, 2024.

2024 West Mayfield Paving Project – General Fund / Liquid Fuels

Proposals for the project shall be publicly opened at 6:00 PM on July 11, 2024 at the regular Borough Council Meeting.

Contractors shall be required to visit the premises to fully understand the scope of the project and all of the existing conditions and limitations relative to the work.

Invitation, preparation, submittal, bidding requirements, all materials furnished and all work shall conform to the current specifications of PennDOT Form 408, current edition and appropriate bulletins.

Bidding documents shall be available only via download from the Widmer Engineering Inc. website at: www.widmerengineering.com under “Bids”.  Requests for clarification shall be forwarded by email to kgray@widmerengineering.com.  The responses shall be publicly displayed on the Widmer Engineering Inc. website. All requests for clarification must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the anticipated date of receipt of Bids.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.

The Borough of West Mayfield reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.

All addenda will be issued to the email addresses below. Delivery confirmation to the email address provided will constitute a receipt of the addenda by the contractor. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check their email addresses at appropriate intervals. Any questions regarding the project must be sent via email to beaverfalls@widmerengineering.com.  All questions and answers will be posted to the bid advertisement page.  Questions will not be answered via phone calls during bid stage. Upon completion of each field, double check your information then click “SUBMIT” and you will be directed to the download page. Incorrect or incomplete information could disqualify your bid.
