Connellsville Twp Francis Ave Sidewalks Project


Sealed bids for the Connellsville Township Francis Avenue Sidewalks Project, County of Fayette, will be received by Connellsville Township at the Township Municipal Building at 166 McCoy Hollow Road, Connellsville, PA 15425, until 4:00 P.M., local prevailing time on Thursday, July 25th, 2024.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township Municipal Building at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 26th, 2024.

The work will consist of installing sidewalks along Francis Avenue, Connellsville Township.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of Connellsville Township in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Widmer Engineering Inc., 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425. Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website @ under the tab “Bids”. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Hard copies will not be distributed.

The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap;

Connellsville Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the biddings.

Bids may be held by the Connellsville Township for a period of forty five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract.

Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
