LAUGHLIN ROAD STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Laughlin Road Stormwater Improvements Project will be received, by Widmer Engineering, at 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, Pa. 15425, until 4:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at 6:00 P.M. during their Dawson Boroughs regularly scheduled monthly meeting located at the Dawson Borough Building at 209 Howell Street, Dawson, Pa 15428. The Project consists of installing 6 new inlets (2 replacement and 4 new location) and approximately 450 linear feet of 15” ADS N-12 Storm Sewer Pipe along Laughlin Road from its intersection with McGill Ave Ext and Plum Alley to an intersection with a 24” Terra Cotta Pipe 400 feet downslope along Laughlin Road where a inlet will be installed. The trenched area shall then be repaired with 100% compacted stone, 4 inches of base and 1.5 inches of asphalt top with asphalt curb. Two replacement inlets are to be installed along Howell Street with 40 linear feet of 24” ADS N-12 Storm Sewer Pipe.

Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website @ www.widmerengineering.com under the tab “Bids”. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Hard copies will not be distributed.
The Project is being paid for in part by a grant from the Fayette County Dirt & Gravel. A Bid Bond is required to execute the agreement for this Project.
Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
All addenda will be issued to the email addresses below. Delivery confirmation to the email address provided will constitute a receipt of the addenda by the contractor. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check their email addresses at appropriate intervals. Any questions regarding the project must be sent via email to email@example.com. All questions and answers will be posted to the bid advertisement page. Questions will not be answered via phone calls during bid stage.
