CALIFORNIA BOROUGH MAIN STREET PUMP STATION
INTERCEPTOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Sealed Bids for the construction of the MAIN STREET PUMP STATION INTERCEPTOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT and Blaine Road Forcemain Extension will be received, by BOROUGH OF CALIFORNIA at the office located at 225 THIRD STREET, CALIFORNIA, PA 15419, until 4:00 P.M. local time on December 7, 2023. The Bids received will be publicly” opened and read aloud at 6:30 P.M. local time on December 7, 2023.
The Projects consist of Replacing the existing Main Street Pump Station Interceptor Line, from the Pump Station to the Manhole at the Intersection of Strawberry Way and Ash Street. Install Sanitary Forcemain and Manholes along Blaine Avenue from Highland Avenue to SR 0088.
A Pre-Bid conference will be held on November 29, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Street Pump Station. This meeting is not mandatory. Any questions concerning the project, locations, and the bidding procedure can be addressed by calling Widmer Engineering at 724-626-1909.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Widmer Engineering Inc., 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am -12:00pm and 1:00pm – 4:00pm by appointment only.
Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website @ https://widmerengineering.com/ under the tab “Bids”. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Hard copies will not be distributed.
Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
