ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Borough of New Brighton, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids at the Office of the Borough Manager, 610 Third Avenue, New Brighton, Pennsylvania, 15066 until 2:00 P.M., February 17, 2026, for the New Brighton 2026 Paving Program.
Plans, specifications and bid documents are available only via download from the Widmer Engineering web site at widmerengineering.com under bids. All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to tsadaka@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date.
All work must be completed in 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and its performance properly secured.
Bids will be opened publicly by the Borough Manager on the date and hour set above for the bid closing. Bids will be considered by Borough Council at their meeting at 7:00 P.M. on February 19, 2026.
The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates.
The Borough of New Brighton reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
