ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The New Brighton Borough, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids at the Office of the Borough Manager, 610 Third Avenue, New Brighton, Pennsylvania, 15066 until 2:00 P.M., March 14, 2023 for the project: New Brighton SR 65 Storm Inlet Replacement.
Plans, specifications and bid documents are available only via download from the Widmer Engineering web site at: widmerengineering.com under bids. All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to tsadaka@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date.
All work must be completed in 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
A mandatory meeting will be held at the borough building on March 6, 2023 at 10:30 AM.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
Bids will be opened publicly by the Borough building on the date and hour set above for the bid closing. Bids will be considered by the Borough Council at its meeting at 7:00PM on March 16, 2023.
The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates.
The New Brighton Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
