ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Township of Potter is seeking sealed proposals for the Potter Township 2020 Paving Program project.
Sealed proposals for this project shall be received by the Township of Potter, 206 Mowry Road, Monaca, PA 15061, until 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 for furnishing labor, materials, and performing all work set forth in the advertisement, general conditions, drawings, and specifications. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the advertised meeting of the Township Supervisors at 6:00 p.m. the same day. The bid opening is open to the public and any bidders who want to attend.
Hand deliveries of bids must be coordinated with the Township Staff by calling 724-495-6220 prior to arriving at the Township office. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday 10 am to 4 pm. Closed Fridays.
This project involves the paving and select milling of Mowry Road, Fish Pot Road, Bauer Road, Anderson Drive, Squirrel Run Road and Pardue Road.
Bidding documents, technical specifications and contract drawings are available only via download from the Widmer Engineering Inc. website at: www.widmerengineering.com under “Bids”.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order, or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in the Instructions to Bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform each contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates.
The Township reserves the right to reject any part of or all proposals, or to waive any irregularity in the proposal when the Township deems such action advantageous to the Township. Bids, whether mailed or delivered in person, shall be sealed, marked “2020 Paving Program.”
All addenda will be issued to the email addresses below. Delivery confirmation to the email address provided will constitute a receipt of the addenda by the contractor. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check their email addresses at appropriate intervals. Any questions regarding the project must be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All questions and answers will be posted to the bid advertisement page. Questions will not be answered via phone calls during bid stage. Upon completion of each field, double check your information then click “SUBMIT” and you will be directed to the download page. Incorrect or incomplete information could disqualify your bid.
