Beams Set on Bridge No. 75 in Greene County

The construction contractor set 4 beams yesterday at Greene County Bridge No. 75 as part of ongoing construction efforts. This milestone marks significant progress toward completing the project safely and on schedule.

The existing structure was 59’-1” ft long built in 1919, reconstructed in 1951 and consisted of a single span, five (5) steel I-beams, concrete deck and 2-S guide rail that was founded on stone abutments and wingwalls.

The proposed project is a 59’-3” long single lane galvanized steel plate girder bridge.
