This project replaces the Greene County Bridge No. 75 in Morris Township, PA, which was built in 1919 and reconstructed in 1951. This single span structure consisted of five (5) steel I-beams with corrugated metal stay-in-place forms on the underside of deck between beams that are supported on cut stone abutments.
The newly constructed bridge is 67’ single span structure consists of four (4) galvanized plate girders with corrugated metal stay-in-place forms on the underside of deck between girders that are supported on integral abutments on H-Piles.
The structure was opened to traffic on February 20, 2026, and improves local connectivity, boosts safety, and enhances mobility for the area.
