Fryer/Wright is in the process of installing a new water main, associated water service lines, five gate valves into existing main lines, and two fire hydrants into existing lines.
The following streets are among those directly affected by the project: Dettmar Avenue, Union Avenue, 5th Street, 4th Street, 3rd Street, Straube Avenue, Camilla Street, Wilson Avenue, Steele Street, Wolfe Street, Berry Street, and Bauman Avenue. The project involves the installation of roughly 8,530 feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe and the replacement of approximately 3,019 feet of public-side service lines with 1-inch copper.
By replacing outdated water infrastructure, this project will provide the Baden community with safer drinking water and help prevent future water line breaks.
