DAWSON BOROUGH

LAUGHLIN STREET STORM SEWER and BOYD AVENUE DRAINAGE PROJECT
Sealed Bids for the construction of the LAUGHLIN STREET STORM SEWER and BOYD AVENUE DRAINAGE PROJECTS will be received by Widmer Engineering, at 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, Pa. 15425, until 4:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at 6:00 P.M. during Dawson Borough’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting at the Dawson Borough Building at 209 Howell Street, Dawson, Pa 15428.
The Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday August 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM for the Laughlin Project at the project location of Laughlin and Howell Street intersection, Dawson, PA 15428.
The Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday August 27, 2026 at 3:30 PM for the Boyd Project at the project location of Boyd Avenue and Laughlin Street intersection, Dawson, PA 15428

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Widmer Engineering Inc., 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425. Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website @ https://widmerengineering.com/ under the tab “Bids”. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Hard copies will not be distributed.
A 10% Bid Bond is required to execute the agreements for these Projects. Prevailing Wages will be required for both.
Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.

All addenda will be issued to the email addresses below. Delivery confirmation to the email address provided will constitute a receipt of the addenda by the contractor. It is the contractor’s responsibility to check their email addresses at appropriate intervals. Any questions regarding the project must be sent via email to kbell@widmerengineering.com. Questions will not be answered via phone calls during bid stage. Upon completion of each field, double check your information then click “SUBMIT” and you will be directed to the download page. Incorrect or incomplete information could disqualify your bid.
