COAL CENTER PUMP STATION
Sealed Bids for the California Pump Station Replacement – Replacement of Coal Center Pump Station will be received, by California Borough, at the California Borough Office, 225 3rd Street, California, PA 15419, until 4:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Bids received will be publicly opened and read at 6:30 P.M. during their monthly meeting. The Project consists of removal of old pump station, bypass pumping, constructing new submersible pump station, installing generator at 141 Poplar Drive, Coal Center, PA 15423.
The Pre-Bid meeting (NOT MANDATORY) is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the project location of 141 Poplar Drive, Coal Center, PA 15423.

All Bidders must provide evidence of Bid Security with their proposal. Bid Security shall be made payable to the California Borough in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bidder’s maximum bid price in the form of either a certified bank check or a Bid Bond, issued by a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified bank check will result in the rejection of the bid.
Prevailing Wages will be required.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Widmer Engineering Inc., 225 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425. Electronic PDF documents are available at no charge. Electronic PDF copies, suitable for printing, of the Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded at the Widmer Engineering website, https://widmerengineering.com under the “Bids” tab. Hard copies will not be distributed.
Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents.
