Civil Engineer
Widmer Engineering Inc. has multiple positions available for Civil Engineers in our Beaver Falls and Connellsville offices. Positions available are for Highway Design, Waste Water Collection and Treatment Design and Municipal Engineering with emphasis on Storm Water Management Design. Highway Design applicants must have experience working on PADOT projects. We offer competitive salaries with family health insurance, 401K plan and ESOP benefits. We are an EOE.

Bridge Engineer
The Beaver Falls office has an opening for a bridge engineer with 3-5 years’ experience.
Candidates should be multi-tasked oriented with the ability to pay attention to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess strong skills in communication, planning and organization.
The position requirements for Bridge Engineer with 3+ years’ experience, as follows:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or EIT.
• 3+ year of bridge design and analysis.
• Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) a plus.

Sr. Bridge Engineer
The Beaver Falls office has an opening for a bridge engineer with 5-10 years’ experience.
Candidates should be multi-tasked oriented with the ability to pay attention to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess strong skills in communication, planning and organization.
The position requirements are for Civil Engineer with 5-10 years’ experience or P.E. license applicants with experience working on PADOT projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Develop project plans, specifications, cost estimates and final bid packages.
• 5+ years of bridge design and analysis.
• Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design specifications.
• Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) a plus.

Widmer Engineering Inc. has a position available in our Beaver Falls office for a licensed surveyor in Pennsylvania.
Job Requirements
- Perform boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way and existing condition surveys
- Utilize various survey technologies to complete projects
- Familiar with Microstation for drafting and computations
- Download and process survey field data
- Analyze and adjust survey control
- Candidates must possess strong skills in communication and planning.
- Well organized, detail orientated and able to handle several projects at once.
