ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Rochester Township Sewer Authority, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids at the Office of the Township, 1013 Elm Street, Rochester PA, 15074 until 2:00 P.M., May 15, 2024 for the project: Rochester Township Sewer Authority – Force Main Replacement – PennVEST.
Plans, specifications and bid documents are available only via download from the Widmer Engineering web site at: widmerengineering.com under bids.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and its performance properly secured.
Bids will be opened publicly by the Sewer Authority on the date and hour set above for the bid closing. Bids will be considered by the Authority Board at its meeting at 6 P.M. on May 20, 2024.
The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates.
PA Steel Product Procurement Act and Competitive Procurement (‘Or Equal’ Requirements) are mandated for the project.
The Sewer Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Authority.

All questions and answers will be posted to the bid advertisement page. Questions will not be answered via phone calls during bid stage.
